If your evaporator coil is dirty not only can it damage your compressor but it can also affect your indoor air quality. we clean your drain line as well, your evaporator coil gets to 40 degrees so it sweats like a soda can on a hot day. Your drain lines job is to take this water and put it outside. sense there is constantly water in your drain line it builds up with algae and can make your drain line back up and shut your unit off. I would say in the summer time 30 to 40% of our service calls are due to a clogged drain lines.
